Norman Lee Davis, Jr., age 67, was born on June 7, 1950 and passed away at his home on Friday, September 1, 2017 after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.

Norman was the son of the late Norman and Julia Garner Davis. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his mother-in-law, Mary Frances Bendall.

Survivors include his devoted wife of more than 40 years, Dru Mealhouse Davis; two sisters, Nancy Davis Wood and her husband, Sammy, and Janet Davis Sykes and her husband, Robert; two nieces, Christy Wood Loyd and her husband, Patrick, and their daughter, Lizzy, and Sara Curtis Sykes; one nephew, Justin Davis Sykes; and numerous cousins, aunts and devoted friends.

A memorial service to celebrate Norman's life will be held on Sunday, September 3rd at 2:00 p.m. in the chapel of Askew Funeral and Cremation Services with Rev. Randy Martin officiating.
